I never thought I would get involved in such a close contact sport such as Jiu-Jitsu. However, since starting my training in February 2013, I now know that it's something I can't do without. There have been many struggles and challenges, but there have also been many, many rewarding moments. I hope through reading my reflections, I can reach out to other women who are interested in the art. These are my adventures.

Women's Self-Defense
I am thrilled to be launching a women's self-defense class at Watford Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. The class will launch on April 10th, 2015. If you're in the Watford (North London) area, you should definitely check it out!
Amazing course Ayesha!!! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It was an absolute revelation that I could get out of holds with very little effort by using the simple techniques you were teaching!!! I am very much looking forward to continuing these classes and hopefully move onto the combative classes and beyond. Also hats off to you for such fantastic and engaging delivery of the class. I would have never guessed that this was the first class you had instructed!!!! Awesome work. See you in 2 weeks and every week thereafter.
